Privacy policy
Effective November 1, 2026
Echo Clipper is a ministry of Echo Music Group ("EMG", "we", "us") in Harlingen, Texas. It helps churches turn sermons into short clips. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We never sell your information.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in, our sign-in provider (Clerk) gives us an account ID, and your name and email if you share them. If you use Google sign-in, Google shares those same basic details.
- Church details. Your church's name, plan, pilot dates, invite code, team roles, and brand settings such as colors, fonts and an uploaded logo.
- Sermon media. Videos you upload to the editor, the transcripts Echo makes from them, and the clips it produces.
- Quick clips audio. With Quick clips, your video stays on your own computer. Only the sound is sent to Echo to be transcribed, and it is not kept after the transcript is returned.
- Usage. How many minutes of audio your church has used this month, so we can show your balance.
- Feedback. Anything you send through the Feedback tab, the page you sent it from, your browser type, and the contact details you choose to include.
How long we keep it
- Source videos are deleted after processing, unless your church turns on "keep originals".
- Clips are deleted automatically 10 days after they are made. Download the ones you want to keep.
- Quick clips audio is not stored. Transcripts and suggested clips live only in your browser.
- Account, church and feedback records are kept while your church uses Echo, and deleted 30 days after your access ends (see Cancelling in our terms). Ask us any time and we will delete them sooner.
How we use it
- To run Echo: transcribe sermons, suggest clips, and show your church's library and balance.
- To keep accounts secure and stop misuse.
- To improve Echo based on how it is used and what you tell us.
We do not use your sermons or clips for advertising, and we do not sell or rent any personal information.
Who helps us run Echo
- Cloudflare hosts the website, stores media, and runs the AI that transcribes audio and suggests clips.
- Clerk handles sign-in and account security.
- Google provides Google sign-in (if you choose it) and the website's fonts.
These companies process data only to provide their service to us.
Cookies and storage
We use the cookies Clerk needs to keep you signed in, and your browser's storage to remember small preferences such as light or dark mode. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information at any time.
- Echo is meant for church staff and volunteers, not for children under 13.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell church admins about important changes. Questions or requests? Use the Feedback tab on any page and include how to reach you, or contact EMG at emgrgv.com.
