Terms of service
Effective November 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between your church and Echo Music Group ("EMG", "we", "us"), which runs Echo Clipper. By creating an account or using Echo, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your church.
Using Echo
- Echo turns sermon and worship recordings into short clips. It suggests clips; you decide what is published. Nothing posts on its own.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your church's account.
- Don't misuse Echo: no unlawful or hateful content, no trying to break or overload the service, and no uploading content you don't have the right to use.
Your content
- Your sermons, clips, logos and brand materials stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide Echo to your church.
- You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including permission from the people who appear in it.
- Music: you are responsible for holding the rights or a valid license, such as CCLI streaming coverage, for any music in clips you publish. Echo does not check licenses for you.
- AI suggestions, titles, captions and Scripture tags can be wrong. Review every clip before you post it.
Storage limits
Clips are kept for 10 days and source videos are deleted after processing unless you choose to keep them. Download anything you want to keep. During the beta, sermons are limited to 25 minutes.
Pilots, plans and minutes
- Pilot: invite codes unlock the Single Church plan free for 7 days. No card is needed and nothing renews automatically.
- Plans include a monthly allowance of audio minutes that resets on the 1st of each month. Unused minutes don't roll over.
- Founding rate: churches that join during our founding period keep their founding price for 12 months from their first paid month, as long as they stay subscribed.
- Multi-Campus is priced per campus, and each campus adds 200 minutes to a pool shared by the whole church.
- Prices are listed on our website. If we change a price, we will tell you before your next billing period, and you can cancel any time.
Sermon Archive (add-on)
- The Sermon Archive is an optional add-on for any plan, in sizes of 100 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB. It is billed monthly, or yearly with 2 months free.
- The space belongs to your church and is shared by all of its campuses.
- Storing a sermon does not use minutes. Minutes are used when you make clips from it.
- Archived sermon videos are kept while the add-on is active. Clips made from them are still deleted 10 days after they are made.
- If you reach your limit, uploads pause and nothing is deleted. You can move to a bigger size at any time, or move to a smaller size once you are under its limit.
- If you end the add-on, your archive gets the same 30-day read-only download window described under Cancelling, and is then permanently deleted.
- The Sermon Archive is coming soon. Until it launches, nothing is stored or charged.
Beta service
Echo is in beta. Features may change, and we may pause or end features with reasonable notice. We work hard to keep it running well, but Echo is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, EMG is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost content, or lost revenue. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your church paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Cancelling
- Cancel any time. No fees and no phone call. Your plan simply doesn't renew.
- Monthly plans keep full access until the end of the month you paid for. We don't give partial-month refunds.
- Yearly plans keep full access until the end of the paid year. Cancel within 3 days of a yearly payment for a full refund.
- 30-day download window. When your access ends, your account becomes read-only for 30 days. You can still sign in, download any clips that haven't expired, and copy your transcripts and brand settings. You can't add new sermons during this time.
- Clips still expire after 10 days, cancelled or not, so download the clips you want within 10 days of making them.
- After the 30 days, your church's account and everything left in it is permanently deleted and can't be recovered.
- Change your mind? Restart within the 30 days and everything comes back as you left it, including a founding rate.
- Pilots that end without a paid plan get the same 30-day download window.
- Removing a campus from a Multi-Campus plan takes effect at your next billing date. Its clips stay in your church's library, and your shared minutes go down by 200 starting that month.
- Late payments: if a payment fails, you keep full access for 3 days while you update your card. After that the account becomes read-only until it's paid or cancelled.
We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If we update them, we will change the date above and tell church admins about important changes. Questions? Use the Feedback tab on any page, or contact EMG at emgrgv.com.
